Each clubhouse event is an exploration that provides new challenges designed to unlock your child’s creative abilities.  We help excercise your kids brains, while teaching star performance abilities, so your kids have an exciting time and become Brainstars!

While at the Clubhouse your child will:

Build confidence

Brainstars build confidence as they learn how to overcome fears of being in front of an audience and learn how win over an audience. The same skills will help your child feel more secure around new people. Challenging tasks will seem less daunting, as your child will learn a process to achieve skills that seem impossible!

Develop Social skills

With coaching, while practicing in small virtual breakout groups, and then presenting on stage — your child will learn new social dynamics that help Brainstars confidently interact and connect with others.

Learn to focus

Your child will develop new ways to focus while practicing multistep magic and other modes of creative expression that require fine motor skills. Brainstars learn timing and script delivery, before deploying these skills in their own presentations.

Expand Creativity 

Brainstorming and guided visualization adventures are used to help your child harness the power of imagination. New ideas will be collected, chosen for uniqueness, and put in motion!

Meet the Brainstar Discovery Clubhouse Director Ben Corey!

Ben Corey is a comedy-magician, an actor, dancer, and singer performing in theaters, and for corporate, social, and private events nationwide. While known for levitating people, he also studied acting at the Studio Theater Conservatory and child development, theater, and social psychology at the University of Maryland College Park

He honed his magic and performance skills while delivering more than 3000 shows.  Each piece of magic was revised to a Las Vegas standard, through a decade of guidance by his late mentor Irvin Kershner; director of “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.”

Or exactly how they pop?

Bubbles are so mysterious that the greatest scientists are still asking questions they can’t answer, but maybe you can!

Come along as bubble magician Meadow Perry leads you through the intriguing world of Bubbleology. Learn how to wield your hands to sculpt incredible bubbles.

Bubbleology Adventure

Design your own bubble wands. Then, use their power to send an origami boat speeding across water.

Each sessions’ adventure continues on your own exploration challenge. Blow your friends’ minds with the science of bubble behavior, the forces that impact them, and the geometric perfection of the bubble.

Use your newfound knowledge to create bubbles so huge you can fit yourself inside!

Stream Wizards with Ben Corey

Tuesdays at 1:00pm

You are invited to create amazement and astonishment with us as you put on your robes and discover your inner wizard.

You’ll develop laser eyesight that allows you to suddenly locate a hidden object; you will feel invisible messages through the vibrations from a piece of paper; you’ll learn a magical vanish that proves once and for all that the hand is quicker than the eye.

You’ll explore creativity to make each effect your own. Make new friends and improve interpersonal skills through magical performance and play.

Doctor Blake’s Beatboxing 101

Thursdays at 1:00 pm

Did you know your mouth isn’t just for talking- it can become your own personal drum kit.

Doctor Blake Brandes, as seen on America’s Got Talent, gets you there with his series, Beatboxing 101!

Join in and notice how making silly sounds can transform into a beatboxing rhythm that is all your own.Discover how sounds become words and words become sounds with the secret of “boots and cats.”

With Beatboxing 101, you’ll take away all the skills needed to impress your friends with beats and sounds you compose yourself.

Doctor Blake will also share Growth Mindset principles kids can use to grow their brains and improve at any skill, use mistakes to get better, and harness the transformational “Power of Yet.”

What’s A Discovery Voyage?

Included in your monthly clubhouse membership, Discovery Voyages give your kiddo access to group exploration sessions where Discovery Guides deeply explore a single topic.  For example, one day we focus on space travel, another day we’ll focus on dinosaurs, and then? How to take an awesome picture.  Voyages end by leaving your kids with independent activities so they can continue their own exploration away from the screen. 

You’ve Gotta Focus!

You’ve got work that can’t be interupted! We’ve innovated a new way to help keep your kids focused. Rather than finding a device and dropping your kid onto a game – only to feel guilty later – we’ve got a new enriching way forward!

How Does It Work?

Club members receive a short survey to collect your kid’s interests. A six week schedule is produced based on what Brainstars want to learn. Guides gather the highest quality, most excting materials on each topic to share with your kid!  Learning happens in a social atmosphere so your kids takeaway new knowledge while also making new friends!

What Are Discovery Guides?

A Brainstar exclusive, Discovery Guides are professional educators that are led by your child’s curiosity.  The guides maximize your child’s learning by helping explore all of your kid’s interests leaving them even more excited about the things they love!

All those questions your kids ask? Discovery Guides become a parent’s best friend by fielding those questions for you, so you have time to focus on what you’ve gotta get done, while your kids join us for Discovery Voyages on their favorite topics.
